Designed around Giro’s Expansion View technology, it reduces frame obstruction to deliver a noticeably wider peripheral vision, helping you read terrain more easily and more reliably in various light conditions. At the core is a VIVID cylindrical lens by ZEISS® optics, engineered to boost contrast and definition on snow. This improves depth perception in both bright sun and flat light, making it easier to spot bumps, shadows, and transitions in the terrain. The Axis also uses an advance venting system which helps release moisture while blocking snow and wind intrusion significantly reducing fog build ups. One of its standout features is the quick change magnetic lens system which uses self-aligning magnets and secure locking pins so you can swap lenses quickly when weather shifts. Most versions come with two lens options (one for bright light and one for low-light or storm conditions), making it a true “all conditions” setup right out of the box.
