The Elan Ripstick 88 is back at it for 26/27 season with the same construction and a little graphic update. Since its inception, the Ripstick line has been one of the most versatile all mountain series on the market. Its claim to fame is being one of the lightest ski in its category while maintaining a relatively high performance status. The Ripstick 88 is built with a full wood core and carbon rods as reinforcement to keep the ski stiff enough to feel stable while remaining lightweight and playful. It’s also one the only skis that can truly cater to beginner skiers as well as expert skiers depending on the skiing you like to do. This ski is great on groomers, it can carve a nice turn with minimal input and is an absolute blast when the powder hits. The Ripstick likes bump and trees due to its low swing weight and easy pivoting abilities. The only time this ski starts to fall short is when faced with higher speeds especially on ice.
